When the way a brand speaks changes,
the business changes with it.
When the way a brand speaks changes,
the business changes with it.
Everything it needs is already there. What changes is how it’s said, and who hears it.
What happens in the cauldron
For ten years I taught what goes into the cauldron.
How to find your ideal client. How to shape a brand personality. Tone of voice, values, visual identity, what to post and when.
People learned it. That part comes apart cleanly. It’s knowledge, and knowledge can be handed over.
What I bring is what I see once it all starts to bubble.
In every brand, and in every person, I see what makes them the obvious choice. It’s rarely in one place. A sentence said in passing. A certificate nobody mentions. A way of working that seems like nothing special. The reason the best clients stayed.
On its own, each of them is a detail. I see what they add up to – a position the whole brand can stand on.
And I know how to turn it into words, feelings, colours and images that speak to the people who haven’t found it yet.
What a position does
It starts with the people who hear it. The right clients recognise themselves in it, and arrive already knowing what it’s worth.
Because they know what it’s worth, the price holds. Published, not negotiated.
Because the price holds, fewer clients are enough. Less work, and better clients.
Because there’s less work, there’s time. Availability by arrangement, and room for better work — the actual luxury.
Then it turns inward. The team knows what it’s saying, so everyone says it the same way. Values the brand always had get a name, and the ones it was missing get set.
And then outward again. Clients repeat it when they recommend the brand. They start to recognise each other. A client list becomes a community.
WHERE WE START

Forty minutes of how this actually goes
Before we talk, I read what your clients read. Then, mostly, I listen.
This is also how the work itself goes. Naming a position takes several conversations – how the business actually earns, what it stands for, where it’s going, and in larger companies how the parts fit together.
Forty minutes is a taste of that.
Prices for positioning are published. No discovery call required to learn them. See the prices →
